Auditions!

 

Tuesday, June 2nd 5:00p.m.-8:00p.m

 

This company consists of the most advanced of Elite Dance Academy’s students and represents the high artistic standards and technical proficiency that we demand. The company performs works by master choreographers and Elite faculty throughout the community as well as in their very own Dance Concert.

 

Levels: Prep, Junior, Senior (ages 10+) Minis* (ages 7-10)

Ballet, Modern, and Jazz experience highly recommended, but not required.

A Ballet, Modern, and Jazz Combination will be taught at the audition.

 

Audition Dress Code: black leotard, pink convertible tights, pink ballet shoes, hair in secure bun,

no bangs or jewelry.

 

Audition fee: $5.00 (CASH ONLY) due on Audition Day.

 

 

 

Prep, Junior, and Senior Company requirements:

Company members are required to take classes in Ballet, Modern, and Jazz

during the summer and 2009-2010 season. They are also required to attend

Elite’s Summer Dance Intensive and are highly encouraged to attend the

Choreography Workshop. A mandatory meeting for both dancers and parents

is scheduled for Thursday, June 4th at 7:00p.m. All members are required to

attend all scheduled rehearsals throughout the summer as well as

weekly and occasional weekend rehearsals during the 2009-2010 dance season.

 

*Mini Company is by invitation only. Invitations with more information

and Company requirements will be sent out on June 3rd. If your child is

by Friday, May 29th. Experience in Ballet, Creative Dance, and Jazz/Hip Hop

are highly recommended. These dancers do not audition on June 2nd.
