Choreography Workshop

Ages 12+

July 13th-17th

9:30a.m.-12:30p.m.

 

Each student will be given the tools and knowledge to create their own dance work and present it to a live audience. Basic concepts of improvisation, choreography, and costume design will be explored.

 

 Each dancer will choreograph a group piece during the workshop and present it in an informal concert on the final day for family and friends. At least one piece will be chosen to be performed at Elite’s Company Concert. Dancers must be enrolled in both Ballet and Modern during the 7-week session to participate.

Join us for this unique week-long dance event full of classes and lectures. Intermediate-Advanced students attend classes in Ballet, Modern, Musical Theater, Yoga, Pilates, Ballroom, and more. Lectures

in Physical Therapy, Nutrition, Dance History, Anatomy, and more!
